For a while now there has been a culture of “hustle” dominating the small business world. It claims that you will have success if you work harder, longer and with more intensity, then eventually over years of working this way, you’ll break through. Led these days by gurus like Gary Vaynerchuk, this work-hard-till-it-works mentality suggests that even if you work a full-time job, there is no reason why you can’t work on a side gig from 7 pm to 2 am and still be fresh for work the next day.
This way of thinking is starting to take its toll on a whole generation of business owners and entrepreneurs that are finding that the hustle isn’t worth the loss of family, health, quality of life and financial strain that comes with throwing so much energy into one thing.
In this look at your wellbeing as a business owner, you will learn:
The telltale signs that you are burning out
The impact of burnout on family, business and your friendships
10 things that you can do in any business that will help you to avoid burning out in the middle of all the hustle
This workshop is brought to you by Business Station and AusIndustry under the ASBAS Digital Solutions Program
