eCommerce represents around 15% of all sales of products and services in Australia. And while that figure feels small, its also grown from $500 million in sales a month in 2015 to nearly $4 BIllion in monthly sales in Australia.

Clearly, we are adopting online shopping at an astounding rate. And it’s not just Amazon and eBay that are taking all the coin. Small retailers and service providers are using a range of online tools and marketplaces to form their own eCommerce businesses. And these range from small stores of just one product to booking systems for consultation times, right through to dropshipping products from offshore warehouses direct to customer’s homes.

In this introduction to the different types of business insurance available, you will learn:

The difference between approaches for selling products and services
How hosting your own store differs from using an eCommerce service
How drop-shipping fits into the eCommerce world
The pitfalls and pro tips for success in eCommerce
This workshop is brought to you by Business Station and AusIndustry under the ASBAS Digital Solutions Program
