Star Wars, Eat Pray Love & Your Customers

There’s a hero in the story of your business. But *spoiler alert* it’s not you.

There’s a hero in the story of your business. But *spoiler alert* it’s not you.

If you thought that the story of your business was a bit like Stars Wars, where you’re the brave Luke Skywalker coming from nowhere to take on the galaxy against the odds, then you’d be very wrong.

The Hero’s Journey is the most commonly used story across literature, television shows and movies. It’s so common now that we don’t even notice that it’s happening right in front of us. We just know that it “feels right.”

Just about all businesses are the hero of their own story. And this drives everything from how they select a location to trade from, to how they select what products to sell, and even how every piece of their advertising is written.

But what if this approach is all completely wrong?

In this session you will learn:

– How the most successful businesses found their hero
– How to find out who your hero is
– How to work out what your role in their story is
– How to realign your message to customers to better serve them

This workshop is brought to you by Business Station and AusIndustry under the ASBAS Digital Solutions Program
