Side hustle. Side Gig. The 5 to 9. A second job. Whatever you call it, that side source of income can bring big rewards… and some problems.

It’s very common these days for anyone you ask to have some form of side-gig that they are working on. For some it’s networking marketing, for others it’s driving for Uber. For those who are studying or working fulltime, working in what is now called “the gig economy” is the way to pay off a credit card faster, get job experience while you’re studying, or to just simply make enough to save for that trip to Byron Bay.

Yet there are traps that many in the gig-economy can fall for if they’re not prepared for them.

In this webinar by serial side-hustler, Dante St James, you will learn:

What the different kinds of side hustles are
The pros and cons of each of them
A close look at the economics of independent contracting
A close of look at how Airtasker, Fiverr and freelancing works
The physical and mental health considerations fo taking on a side-gig
Tips from those who have both succeeded and failed at their side-gigs
This workshop is brought to you by Business Station and AusIndustry under the ASBAS Digital Solutions Program
