With the rise of Clubhouse, Twitter Spaces and the upcoming Facebook Hotline, people are really taking notice of online audio, particularly in the areas of education, coaching and sharing of expertise. This also means that podcasting is having a third wave of popularity as listen-on-demand is booming.
But before you can share audio, broadcast it or podcast it, you need to record it, edit it, clean it up and package it ready for people to hear.
One of the world’s favourite tools for doing this is called Audacity. And it’s a free open-source audio tool that is quite easy to use once you know your way around it.
In this free look Under The Hood of Audacity you will learn:
How Audacity works by getting to know to the interface
Understanding the difference between audio files and audio projects
Recording voice and other audio into Audacity
Editing your recordings, removing breaths and adding effects
Creating multi-track projects with multiple recordings, music, intros and sound effects.
This workshop is brought to you by Business Station and AusIndustry under the ASBAS Digital Solutions Program
