Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruises, has a long history alongside the Adelaide River. It has had several owners over the past couple of decades, however it was after the purchase by the Arirrki Aboriginal Corporation on behalf of the Lalara clan of Groote Eylandt, that the old facilities were replaced and the three tour boats either commissioned or overhauled to meet modern safety standards. Arirrki also paid to have the original single story shed replaced with the new modern guest facilities currently in place on the river bank and have helped reform Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruises into the family friendly business it is today.
Arirrki Aboriginal Corporation have several businesses across the Top End and Groote Eylandt, the profits of which go back to directly helping the five families that Arirrki represents. The staff and owners at Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruises, also acknowledge the Limilngan-Wulna as the traditional owners of the surrounding area.
Wes Field, a long time Darwin local, with a bank ground in service and retail management, was promoted by the Board of Directors to the CEO role. Realising that the way forward was to regroup and restructure the businesses to streamline and install best practices where possible. Treeti is working with Arirrki to support them with their major projects and business development.
