Stay Smart Online

Helping to keep Territorians safe online

Why are we part of Stay Smart Online?

Every year Australians are being taken advantage of by scammers to the tune of millions of dollars. Businesses and families are impacted by a lack of awareness and education in the very basics of staying safe online. As a part of the Australian digital community and an influencer of the digital narrative in the Territory, it makes sense that we play our part in helping businesses and people to be smarter online.

How do we deliver Stay Smart Online in the Northern Territory?

Treeti delivers elements of Stay Smart Online in the Northern Territory by:

  • Sending online safety releases and messages to local TV, radio and print media
  • Taking part in weekly radio interviews on 104.1 Territory FM, during which cyber safety and scam-watching is a regular topic
  • Alerting followers on social media channels and via our email newsletter when alerts are released from the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC)
  • We also donate part of our airtime on Channel 10 Darwin to Cyber Safety messages

Treeti Business Consulting conducts all Stay Smart Online activities at no charge, as a Community Service activity to assist all Australians to participate safely in the online economy and community.

How do I receive cyber safety updates?

We send out alerts from Stay Smart Online through our Facebook page and email newsletter when updates are released.
