A critical marketing tool, you are ignoring, with a simple fix.

How many times have you sat there thinking, ‘How can I increase sales?’ with a horrible feeling in your stomach that you don’t have the answer you need.

We’ve worked with enough businesses to know you have probably never answered that question with ‘I need to improve my copy’ or ‘The messaging could be far more powerful’.

Yet, it is more important than ever to stand out from the crowd and quickly and clearly communicate in a way that inspires your ideal customer’s action.

Why is it far more critical than ever? Three reasons;

  • It is more competitive (crowded) than ever.
  • Your audience is far more distracted than ever.
  • For both of those reasons, you also have less time than ever.

We are all guilty of being attracted to the romantic or fun things in our business. As a result, the importance of copywriting, or clarifying our marketing messaging, is never hitting our radar.

It is one of the most critical marketing tools we have. It will make or break your business.

“Burn this into your brain. People don’t buy without a reason why.” – from Author and Copywriter, Jim Edwards.

No really. Burn that into your brain.

Your customers have fears, desires, and problems. They also have aspirations. Your job is to architect the right words to help them build a bridge in their minds to close the gap between them.

“Understand these are people with hopes, dreams and worries. They are just like you. They want time off. They want to take care of their children. They worry about the future. They stress out over their credit card bills. They want to have a nice car. They want to provide a great future for their family. All these things are important to them. You need to know what’s important to them because you’re selling to people. You’re not selling to a niche.” – Jim Edwards.

How do you write powerful copy that sells? The process includes;

  • Defining who your ideal customer is. Learn to express their problems using language they would use.
  • Demonstrate you understand their problem and have the authority (skills, knowledge, or experience) to solve it.
  • Convince them, through your copy, that you can make their life better
  • Make it easy to deal with you. To understand your experience or what the process will look like after purchase.

Do you want killer copy that will drive more sales AND want to know you have it right?
